Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Walking Street Pictures(“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent motion picture company based in Angeles City, Central Luzon, Philippines. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use https://walkingstreetpictures.com (the “Site”).

2. Data we collect

  • Contact submissions: name, email address, subject, message, and IP address used to send the message.
  • Casting submissions: name, email, phone, age, height, city/region, acting experience, links to reels and socials, an uploaded headshot (if provided), your message, and your consent confirmations. We also record the IP address used to submit.
  • Crew applications: name, email, phone, role, years of experience, links to portfolio/resume, message.
  • Analytics: anonymous, aggregated usage data via Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) — only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Cookies: a small number of cookies for cookie consent state, age-gate confirmation, and (if accepted) analytics.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your contact enquiry.
  • To review your casting submission and contact you if it's a fit for a current or future production.
  • To consider your crew application for upcoming productions.
  • To improve the Site and understand how it's used (analytics).
  • To meet our legal obligations under PH and EU data law.

4. Lawful basis (NPC and GDPR)

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (cookies, casting and crew submissions) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us. We comply with the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and, where applicable, with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

5. Data retention

  • Casting submissions are retained for up to 180 days after submission, then automatically purged from our active systems unless you have been shortlisted or invited to audition. Shortlisted submissions are kept for the duration of the relevant production.
  • Contact enquiries are retained for up to 24 months unless we have an ongoing conversation with you.
  • Crew applications are retained for up to 24 months so we can reach out when a fitting role opens.
  • Backups of our database are kept for up to 30 days for disaster recovery.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Vercel — Site hosting and image storage.
  • Turso — Database hosting.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery.
  • Google — Analytics 4 (only if you accept analytics cookies).

These providers act as data processors on our behalf and process data only as instructed.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to crossover.jaques@yahoo.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

8. Mature content advisory

Walking Street Pictures produces art-house cinema for mature audiences. Some productions contain themes intended for viewers 18 and older. Some pages on this Site (notably the casting page and certain production pages) require you to confirm you are at least 18 years of age before continuing.
